We recognize that all of our patients are unique and deserve to receive orthodontic care that reflects their individual needs. Our experienced and talented team is committed to working with you and your family to create a comfortable, stress-free, and rewarding orthodontic experience every time you visit our practice. We are pleased to welcome you and your family, and we look forward to working with you.
I love that we have created an orthodontic office where our patients and families feel comfortable. We have wonderful staff members who focus on each person, making them the top priority during visits. At our office,I am our HR as well as accounts receivable and payables manager. I also maintain our computers and provide tech support for our digital X-ray and digital impression machines. It is a great feeling to have worked with Dr. Woods since 1990, keeping the practice running smoothly, so our patients receive the best care while achieving their new smiles!
As a child and young adult, I lived in different countries while my father served in the U.S. Air Force. Now, I live in Sandwich and enjoy the beaches of Cape Cod, reading, movies, and spending time with my husband, beautiful daughter, and friends.
I enjoy making our patients and their families feel comfortable at Woods Orthodontics. It is important that they understand our treatment recommendations and what to expect from orthodontic care: The goal of our office is to help patients make an educated decision about their future smile. Therefore, we meet with them for as much time as needed, talking about orthodontics and the various treatment modalities available. I enjoy getting to know each patient and watch their confidence and self-esteem blossom as their smile changes. The day they finish reatment and see their beautiful smile for the first time, is the best part of my work!
When I’m not in the office, I like being with my friends and family and going for walks with my dog, Addy. As a typical Cape Codder, I love going to the beach as well!.

As an Orthodontic Assistant, I like becoming friends with our patients and learning about their lives. Everyone has stories to share and we are always laughing together. I seat and prepare patients to see Dr. Woods, work chairside to adjust their braces as he directs, and take orthodontic diagnostic records (photos, x-rays and dental scans) as needed. I also spend time teaching patients and parents about oral health, the mechanics of tooth movement, wearing elastics and cleaning their teeth.. It is amazing to watch patients change and become happier during treatment. When we remove their braces, I love celebrating their finished smiles with them.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my friends and family. I’m a proud mother to a wonderful son and I love supporting his sports activities. I also like reading and being outdoors.
I enjoy building friendly relationships with patients. It’s fantastic to see how much each person changes as they get their new smile: they become much happier and outgoing! I make sure patients are comfortable in the chair, prepare them for their procedure, and work chairside. I also take diagnostic records and teach patients and parents about orthodontic and dental care. I love being part of creating a lifetime of beautiful smiles!
I’ve lived on Cape Cod my whole life. When not working, I’m usually with my young son and friends and family. I enjoy going to the beach, being outside, and laughing with others.
I like seeing our patients grow and start to love their smiles. People often start treatment feeling self-conscious about their teeth. By the time we’re done, they can’t stop smiling and laughing! I help patients during visits, seating them, explaining what will happen, and supporting Dr. Woods. I also teach patients about dental health, take diagnostic records and answer questions. I love coming to work, always looking forward to talking and laughing with our patients.
When I’m not at Woods Orthodontics, I enjoy traveling, watching movies, and getting together with friends and family. In addition to being a certified orthodontic/dental assistant, I’m also a licensed esthetician.
I enjoy helping patients and seeing their orthodontic transformation. I also enjoy seeing the different treatment plans Dr. Woods creates, as each patient has unique needs. I make sure our patient is comfortable, tell them what the doctor will do, and support them. I also take X-rays, impressions, and photos, and teach patients about orthodontics. The best moment is when a patient finishes and sees how their work has resulted in a wonderful smile!
During my time off I enjoy reading, listening to music, going on adventures, and exploring new places. At home, I enjoy my kitten, Cookie. I love the beach and recently moved back to Cape Cod.
I enjoy talking with and getting to know our patients. We care for people of all ages, so I’m always learning something new from them! Seeing a person go from feeling self-conscious to being thrilled with their smile is the best experience and I see it every day! I bring the patient to the chair, make sure they’re comfortable, and explain what Dr. Woods will be doing. Then I sit chairside, helping Dr. Woods while talking with our patient. I also offer information about orthodontics and take diagnostic records.
When I’m not at Woods Orthodontics, I love being at the beach. I was born and raised on Cape Cod and love raising my daughter here. My family and I like being outdoors, especially when we’re near salt water.
