Your First Visit
At the initial visit, Dr. Woods will examine the patient and listen to the patient's dental concerns. Based on that conversation, Dr. Woods will complete a comprehensive examination of the patient's teeth, jaws and the muscles controlling chewing. This allows Dr. Woods to determine more about the nature of the patient's orthodontics problem. From this information, Dr. Woods will suggest a treatment approach that will be thoroughly discussed, including insurance coverage, fees and financial arrangements. Ample time is given so that any concerns you may have about orthodontic treatment can be addressed. We always welcome questions and strive to keep our patients and parents informed during the course of treatment. The custodial parent must be present to sign the necessary HIPAA forms and other paperwork. (The custodial parent is usually the parent with whom the patient resides.)
